At the end of the 2019-2020 Football season, that was the question going through everyone’s mind. As his lackluster season ended, a lot of people were questioning if that was it for Tom Brady. We used that speculation to troll the entire world.

It all started with a tweet.
In the days leading up to the Super Bowl, we had Tom post a cryptic photo of himself in the tunnel of Gillette Stadium. People went bonkers.
Then we aired Tom’s faux-retirement spot during the Super Bowl.
People went bonkers. Again.
And what was on the front page of ESPN during the big game?
Gotcha, America!
When the dust settled, we not only fooled Football fans everywhere, we also increased Hulu Live TV subscriptions by over 25%.
This impossible idea was the brainchild of Max Pollak and Carly Blitz. I helped Creative Direct it and tried not to get too giddy when it aired during the game.
